Webster's Brewhouse, formerly Graham's Place, has received mixed reviews from diners. Despite the friendly staff and excellent food, the behavior of an alleged co-owner tarnished the experience for many. The establishment offers mixed elements, such as overpriced drinks, inconsistent food quality, but great value for certain meals. The atmosphere remains somewhat rough, catering to a specific demographic. While some recommend visiting for super affordable meals and accommodating staff, others advise against hosting events at this location. Dining here could lead to varied experiences, and potential diners are urged to consider all factors before making a reservation.

Visited this pub/ restaurant again for Sunday lunch with friends. Super meal with lots of fresh vegetables and the best apple pie ever all for the great price of £5.99 for 2 courses. Cant beat it, will return soon. View all feedback.
What Abigail Morris dislikes about Grahams Place:
they called when they went after a drink and looked inviting from the outside. it should probably be expected for a Friday, but very busy and unfortunately very rebellious. pub was much worse for wear and rough with numerous groups. the personal was pleasant and apologetic for... those who had clearly appeared since their work. incapable of having a conversation with the loudness of the offensive language we have lef... We visited on the bank holiday weekend in May, since they'd changed their name to Webster's Brewhouse and we thought they'd maybe incorporated a microbrewery or SOMETHING to warrant the name change. They don't brew anything in house and have an unimaginative line of mass-produced...ales on the pulls, so I can only imagine that they're trying to cash in on the trend for microbreweries without actually putting the work in. Really odd. Got given an overpriced gin in a half pint Pepsi glass. The clientele seems to mainly consist of the pint of Stella and tattooed neck crew. It's unrefined, unsophisticated and I don't understand why they're trying to appeal to anyone but their core demographic. If that's where they make their money then fair enough but stick to it and be honest about what you are.
The real nightmare began with the alleged part-owner, who is an elderly woman who works at the neighboring garden center. Despite being told we could park in the pub's car park, we were informed upon arrival that we could not. When I mentioned what we had been told, I was met with a barrage of disrespectful comments, including threats about children eating from the buffet and half of our friends not showing up. We were also belittled for not spending enough money on the reception. This completely shocked and outraged us, and it overshadowed what was meant to be a special day for our family and friends. The staff at the pub were friendly and the food was excellent, but this did little to make up for the horrendous behavior of the alleged owner. A family member of hers even approached us to apologize, despite not being involved in the conversation. The manager also apologized afterwards, but it did not change our negative experience or impression of the establishment. We will not be supporting this individual's business in the future. I strongly advise against booking any functions at Webster's Brewhouse (formerly Graham's Place) or the neighboring garden shop. Avoid these places at all costs, especially for important events.
