No flavoured Vo... read more As soon as I entered I knew it was going to be chaos and I was correct. 815 booking and finally got seated at 840. The drink selection is awful. No flavoured Vodka, no orange J2O, Lemonade tasted cheap amd nasty. The service was awful. After an hour we had still had no food or the offer of a second drink, so I went and ordered my own at the bar. My poppadom tasted of cold fat, does that mean they're not fresh? The starters were fine, just took an hour and 10 mins to get them. The mains were OK, I had Salmon which said it came with a salad. Salad was lettuce..... Technically it's salad but I just thought there would be more. It just felt like down in the cellars you are forgotten. We only went because I couldn't get a table at Bombay Pickle. I definitely will never go again.

The food was excellent... read more It was a really busy evening for the restaurant but despite being fully booked, the staff couldn’t have been nicer or more accommodating! The food was excellent, tasty and delicious. The atmosphere in the cellar area is cosy and unique. We had a lovely meal, portions were ample. Prices are excellent and match the service. While we waited for the taxi, we were given a complimentary drink and had a lovely chat with the staff. Would highly recommend! Nothing but praise.

We were not disappointed, lamb shank for the OH, mixed tandoori massala for me. Both amazing, lamb literally falls off the bone! The staff are so friendly and helpful, offering their expert opinion on the food and having general conversation, hard to find nowadays in a restaurant. Keep up the good work Cellars, we'll be back.

I highly recommend trying the Chicken Tikka, it's a must-have dish. The atmosphere is also very inviting with a rating of 5 stars.

They had specials as well as the standard menu. I always test a venue on the quality of their Rogan Josh and this definitely passed. The other half had a naga and he was also very pleased. Great flavours . Definitely recommend.
