The surrounding area is dotted with magnificent Abbeys and ancient villages and Duclair is a good place to refuel. Le Refectoire serves simple, modern French cuisine at very...good prices. A series of set menus and a varied a la carte provide a choice of fish, cheese and meat based dishes to suit most tastes. From the salmon sushi to the buttered steaks and tangy puds, everything we ordered was well cooked and full of flavour. On both evenings we had a bottle of wine and three courses (cheese on the second occasion) and the bill didn't exceed Staff are very friendly and my basic French combined with their basic English got us through. In the great French tradition, bread is complimentary and caraffes of water keep coming. Bravo Le Refectoire!

The food was very good and the staff very friendly. They don't speak English but we were able to communicated...with them. The location is beautiful in front of the river. I would definitely come back here.

I recommend!
