We make it a point to visit almost every time we are on vacation here (for 10 years now) and have never been disappointed with the food, drinks, or service. The restaurant has a charming and cozy atmosphere, and the staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive. The food is some of the best my family has ever had. The bar area offers a stunning view of the sunset over the Pamlico Sound. Be sure to try the shrimp and grits and a Kanu 75 cocktail – you won't regret it! A big thank you to the host staff and our server, Brad, for another wonderful evening at Paper Canoe. We can't wait to come back next year!

The tomato soup was one of the best I've had, and the sauce on the lobster ravioli was outstanding. The service was fast, knowledgeable, and our server was awesome. They also recommended the fried oysters, which were amazing. This is truly the best restaurant in the Outer Banks and we will definitely be back.
