Aqua - Duck

Food was delicious, and our server, Paige, was pleasant and attentive. We had the French cut chicken breast and the shrimp and grits, along with a side of the locally sourced scallops. Highly recommend!

Very nice restaurant with multiple seating options inside and overlooking the water. We both had the fish specials, tile fish and tuna vegetable medley unlike anything we have had. The wine list was pretty good for a resort property. Best recommendation is the cream brûlée, which was amazing. Service was excellent+.

The two best meals we had in Duck this week were both at Aqua, hands down. The Whipped Goat Dip and Scallop Ceviche appetizers were both great. The two main courses I had were the Shrimp Grits one day and the Duck Breast the next. Both were awesome, as was the Tuna special which I got to taste as well. I would order any one of those main courses again in a heartbeat. The Flourless Chocolate Torte was a more than great way to finish off the meal. Others in my party raved about the Stuffed Pepper veggie entre the Crab Cakes and the Pea Soup special. I am greatly looking forward to my return trip back there in a couple of weeks. Perfect dining experience! Breathtaking soundfront view, excellent food options, and extensive wine list. Bryan was an exceptional server—very kind and knowledgeable about the menu. Aqua has been added to our list of must dine restaurants at OBX.

We had a great meal at Aqua...great food, great service (thanks, Paige! and great seating along a window where we could watch the sunset. Although everyone seemed to love what they ordered, I can only speak for myself. The Whipped Goat Cheese Dip with pita was a great start to the meal and the Shrimp Grits were even better than I had hoped for. I would order both again in a heartbeat. Others in our party ordered the Tuna, Duck Breast, Seafood Pasta Carbonara and Stuffed Pepper and all were pleased. The peanut butter pie was a great way to end the meal as well. The restaurant is a bit pricey but I can't say it's not worth it...we will definitely be back.
