Great local atmosphere, good drinks, friendly people, always a cheerful bartender to serve some cold drinks and good melodies. Don't forget to get your nostalgic picture in the phone booth before you go?

This charming neighborhood bar is warm and welcoming. We often drop by when there's a band playing or just to say hello to the owners. Our daughter, Sarah Bennett, had a special fondness for Darla & Ted and would visit this place with her co-workers after finishing community service in the area. We enjoy keeping her memory alive by coming here.
Northside has consistently evolved to better serve its guests since my first visit. They've added new restrooms and a lovely seating area with a fire pit. Overall, it's a charming bar in Dubuque that showcases some interesting historic architecture.
