Friday steak special 6 ounce sirloin is a favorite. Always cooked as ordered. Side dish of green beans tste like made from fresh, but probably not; and potato casserole is kinda inconsistent, sometimes tastes a little sweet. Wife prefers chicken fried, but doesn 't care for the mashed potatos with stuff in them. (Chives, peel, ? I thought it was all right. Price very reasonable, ervice good and friendly. Would recomm... What Tracy R doesn't like about May's Meat Market Eastland Tx:
Place has really gone down hill the last several months. Ordered a chef salad and the lettuce was old and the portion was very small compared to before. Don't know how the rest of their food is lately. Place was crowded so maybe some of the other stuff is OK still View all feedback.
Little hidden gem in Eastland, TX. Went with friends to celebrate a Birthday on a Saturday. The guys had the Catfish Dinners and the girls had 5oz Steak Dinners. Steaks were almost so tender they could be fork cut! The Herb Butter on top was delicious and along with the chargrilled flavor steak sauce is not required! Baked potato was perfect and the salad bar is small but very adequate. The only disappointment was the fried catfish which the guys described as dry because the breading was too thick and took away from the fish inside, had to use many containers of tarter sauce to get it down! Would definitely go again and stick to the MEAT! Our waitress was delightful and a ray of sunshine, very friendly and efficient with a smile that never stops!!!!!! We saw this restaurant reviewed on THE TEXAS BUCKET LIST travel show and finally were able to try for ourselves and it did not disappoint!
Great little place! good food, fair price, and exceptionally friendly staff!! would highly recommend!
Food was great!! Service was amazing!! If you are going through Eastland...... definitely stop and eat!!!
Just a hole in the wall place with great food. We both ordered a hamburger with fries. And an appetizer of beer battered onion rings. It was all awesome food. The waitress was very friendly and was helpful when we asked about the menu items. You might get some looks from locals when there. You know it's a great place to eat when it is full of local people. A bit hard to find as it sits behind other stores but it is so worth it. Next time we are here we will stop here again.
