Ike's Love Sandwiches - Dublin

I usually love this place because they offer vegetarian and vegan meat alternatives, as i follow a vegan diet for health reasons. I ordered a ?pilgrim? sandwich from DoorDash that included vegan turkey, but my sandwich contained real meat products. I had taken a bite before realizing and have been violently sick since. I have been trying to call this location to speak to someone but no one seems to answer the phone.

Twice now I 've had horrible experiences at this Ike 's location. Which is a shame because Ike 's in general is delicious. If you think ordering online will be a smooth experience where you can slide in and pick up your waiting order, you 're wrong. It was absolute mayhem when I tried to order at lunch time. Even though I arrived at the estimated complete time, I still had to wait for about an HOUR, all the while being lied to that my order was coming up , before I got the truth that it still wasn 't even started. People who walked in and ordered well after me got their food first. And this was the case for several of the people waiting for orders. After all that I asked for a refund (which they cannot do on the spot). I experienced similar problems when I ordered in the evening on a separate occasion. Perhaps it 's pandemic staffing problems, maybe it 's bad management. It felt like the employees were working as hard as they could, but I just can 't do it anymore. Please save yourself the headache and go somewhere else.

Absolutely FANTASTIC sandwiches! Drawn here from a Tiktok about the 188. DOOMSDAY sandwich (yes a bit pricier than their normal sandwiches yes it has EVERYTHING). Split with 2 people and it was just the right amount of food, VERY delicious. It was amusing that they hadn 't heard of this sandwich and had to look it up, so they had fun making it for the first time (I think; heard several times about how crazy it was that it has EVERY meat). Their Dutch Crunch bread is something OUT of this world.

The sandwiches here really loved except that they are expensive for what we get. Not just a visit every time. Ordered vegan meat sandwich (PeeWee), got *ONE* deli (so very thin) slices on each side of the sandwich! Couldn't believe it, wondered if they just ran the first time, or were distracted forget to add more, but thought it wasn't a fuke complaining. Second time, a thin slice on each side of the bungalow again. That's just not enough, even Subway gives more than one disc! Asked for all vegans, but not cheese? Not sure what 's on bc the meat sandwiches are stacked quite high we don't know if it's because we're eating vegan, but it should be a discrepancy between meat plants based meat portions! They also apply vegan cheese, but when I remembered it please make it all vegan, we do not have (plant base) cheese! Has Online Order 3. Once, 't was ready when we came there, came 10 minutes later (total 25 minutes waiting), this time, 3 pieces of meat on the whole sandwich, so we don't know why the directive is to give very little vegan meat, but we feel it's very unfair. Otherwise, the selection of vegetables was good, with banana pepper jalapenos, and we like the dirty sauce bread choices. The selection of teas is appreciated, the hibiscus was our favorite. We wanted to do this for sandwiches, but really do not agree that one or two thin sliced pieces of vegan meat is sufficient, especially if you pay over $12 for a PeeWee sandwich and other ' sandwiches made more generous. Feel strong that cashiers should not switch over to sandwich prep, fast washing (reinsing really) hands then on the gloves always affects us, and we ask ourselves what goes on in the back prep kitchen when gloves are used properly sanitation.

We ordered 4 sandwiches from this place, 3 Reading rainbow and 1 Time traveler. They messed up on all four of them. 2 of 3 Reading rainbow did not have any avocado, even though it is one of the main ingredient for that sandwich. None of the sandwiches had jalapeños that we had asked for and they did not give extra dirty sauce on the side as well. When we are paying $12 per sandwich, the least we expect is to get the basic ingredients right and not miss the requests me made. We will most probably give this place a miss next time we want to have Ike?s sandwich.
