Denica's is an order... read more Denica's is the place to go for breakfast! They have delicious baked goods, great drink options, and ah-mazing breakfast and lunch choices. Denica's is an order at the counter and seat yourself restaurant. When we arrived, there was a line at the ordering counter but it moved pretty quickly. As we approached the pastries counter, we ordered our baked goods. The gentleman asked me to go to the other room counter to place our food order with him. He was very nice and efficient. After we placed our order, we were given a number and snagged a table for two. If you're looking for a local breakfast place, you need to visit Denica's!! What we ordered: Chocolate cookie with walnuts Ube cookie Cinnamon bun Veggie omlette with potatoes Ube pancakes Cookie dough waffle Everything was delicious!!

Counter ordering, and while you're in line, you can stare and drool at the baked goods while you study the menu and choose your breakfast. Nice! Real nice! The Cinnamon roll, for example, is HUGE and looks AMAZING, I had to order one to take home $6.50, 4.0 stars]. I also ordered the Big Kahuna Sando, served on a brioche roll, pepper jack, kalua pork, one egg, wailuku sauce $18, 4.0 stars] presented beautifully but too much gravy to pick up. Still, I liked everything including the last 10 bites of the gf's pancakes. Piggy piggy! LIKE: the food, the vibe. DISLIKE: no servers, counter ordering. Didn't know, but Denica's has 2 other locations: Livermore, and Castro Valley. I'll be hitting those up sometime, too.

There was a lack of r... read more I got food poisoning from the burrito at this restaurant, so I do not recommend going there. The service was rated 2/10 and the food 4/10. There was a lack of ranch, rated 10/10. The coffee latte was rated -3/10 as it tasted like cold milk with a hint of coffee. The staff was rude when we asked simple questions about dietary concerns and seemed uninterested in helping us. Overall, the food was okay but lacking in flavor and quality. When we asked for ranch, we were told to go to the neighboring Subway.

R... read more Absolute gem of a restaurant. Great interior design, good location, and excellent food (brunch) options. Loco Moco is easily the best brunch dish I've tasted! Rich gravy sauce on sticky rice, with gorgeous kalua pork on the side. A bit pricey but surelyworth every penny. Also, we were glad to find that they have complimentary nacho chips on the side for everyone! What a greatexperience this is overall.

It was my first time to the place, I saw a line and I anticipated it going to be a long wait and I am going to be hungry for a while. But that wasn?t the case. They are very fast with their service. We order Ube lovepancake, their special and egg Benedict. Totally loved it. The service was super fast, the people were really nice. I willdefinitely come by again and recommend it to more people.
