Description

Overall, the restaurant received mixed reviews from customers. Some found the food to be good, with traditional Mexican dishes and delicious margaritas, as well as attentive servers and a great ambiance. However, others were disappointed with the high prices, the quality of the food (with rubbery chicken being a common complaint), and the dated and not very clean atmosphere of the restaurant. Some also mentioned that the noise level was too high, and that the seating was uncomfortable. Although some patrons expressed a willingness to return, others said they would not be going back to the restaurant.

We made a reservation and were seated promptly. Our server was attentive, although the service was a bit slow due to a good number of patrons in the restaurant. However, we understood that all the staff were working hard, so it wasn't an issue. The restaurant was clean, and the ambiance was great. The food took longer to arrive than we had anticipated, but we expected that. When it did arrive, it was enjoyable, and the portion sizes were reasonable. The prices were slightly higher than we expected, but everything seems to be more expensive these days. We didn't hold back on the tips.

The service has declined severely since my original 5-star rating 3 years ago. We received very poor service the last 2 times we were here. One both trips, the waiters would just serve other larger party tables and just ignored my table. On the most recent trip, waited 45 minutes for our food to come WITHOUT a single check-in to see if we needed more drinks, but he served other tables around us. When we're done, I had to go find the waiter to ask for the check. Not coming back anymore.

What really makes this place stand out, though, is the staff. They feel like an extension of the family, always going the extra mile to make sure every guest feels welcome and well taken care of. The owners are the heart and soul of the restaurant, often seen buzzing around, chatting with patrons, and ensuring everything runs smoothly. Whether I'm celebrating a special occasion or just in the mood for some comfort food, this place never lets me down. It's more than just a restaurant – it's a community, and I’m thankful to be a part of it. Here's to many more years of fantastic meals and cherished memories!

Can tend to get loud if too much beet is flowing.

We went to have lunch after not being there for a long time. It was pouring outside and we were seated in a spot where I could feel the draft and was very cold. The food was disappointing. The cheese in my enchilada was not melted very well, both my husband and my crispy tacos were soggy from sitting in the enchilada sauce and the corn tortillas tasted old. Service was good but the food was not as we remembered it. We probably won’t return.
