I always like it here. Good food on the centre of town, friendly staff and cool surroundings. Only problem was that they usually serve the calamari with a separate bowl of sauce and this time the sauce was under the squid. Result top rings crispy, bottom rings soggy. View all feedback.
What Daniel Evans doesn't like about The Restaurant by Johnnie Cooke:
Went in after a night shift to have a breakfast. There were two options for poached eggs. A small that cost about 8 euro and a regular that cost about 14 euro. I ordered the small one as I am not a big eater but a few minutes later one poached egg arrived on a quarter of a slice of toast. A quarter. Which would be like one bite or two. They should be embarrassed calling it breakfast. Who on earth serves one quarter o... View all feedback.
My friend and I had tea in the restaurant last night and it was a nice experience. Our waitress, Jessie was very attentive and very nice. We were able to stay for hours without pressure and chat as we made our way through the beautiful selection of foods and were made with tea over all!
Today I had lunch at this restaurant, even though it is a bit far from my usual area. I came across some small reviews, so I decided to give this place a try. I ordered a vegetarian pizza and veggie with sweet potato for two people. The food was incredibly delicious and flavorful. The vanilla latte was a bit too strong for my taste, but overall it was still good. The staff was friendly and accommodating. I was pleased to see that they had Aqua Pana, which is not commonly found in restaurants. I took some videos and photos to share. Overall, a great dining experience. Goodbye!

The place is located in Brown Thomas on the third floor. The ambiance is trying to project luxury but not very successful. The service is okish. The food was passable at best. The prices are very high. We tried the sole which was decent. The shrimp avocado sandwich was small, hardly any shrimps in it. The sweet potato fries were enjoyable. The tea pots are cheap. Overall not good value for money.
I visited this restaurant with my family for lunch. The atmosphere is casual and inviting, with plenty of natural light. The menu offers a variety of options, but I decided to go with the Caesar salad with chicken. It was both delicious and beautifully presented, just like the rest of the meals. The staff were attentive and professional, striking a perfect balance without being overbearing. The prices were fair considering the quality of the food and the pleasant ambiance. I would definitely recommend it.
