What User likes about Volpe Nera:
The small bites offered on the menu before the starters were lovely, I had of them. Then I had the halibut which was beautiful. Our food took just under an hour to arrive which was a bit frustrating, no one from the service team advised an update for why. The place feels very formal and lacks character, no artwork in the dining room, just felt a bit cold. Overall it was a good experience, won't be rushing back though... View all feedback. What User doesn't like about Volpe Nera:
Dumpling were stone cold for the starter. Chocolate desert was lacklustre and fairly plain. We has Chateaubriand for main was nice. Staff service was confused and lacked basic training. A good local place to eat, but doesn’t hit the heights. View all feedback.

What a great experience. Food was so delicious, tasty and innovative. Stuff is very nice, polite and knowledge. Definitely one of best experience in Dublin.
Volpe Nera offers a mixed experience with some standout dishes but lacking in others. The service is hit or miss, with some staff being attentive while others fall short. The food quality is good but not exceptional for the high prices charged, with a limited menu selection. However, the standout dishes like dumplings and côte de bœuf impress. The ambiance is pleasant and the staff, particularly Niamh, provide excellent service. Overall, Volpe Nera is a decent local option for a meal, but falls short of delivering a truly exceptional dining experience for the price point.
