Toddy's - Dublin
Toddy's
Description
The restaurant in the Gresham Hotel offers a mixed experience. While the red coconut curry is tasty and the staff friendly, there are some inconsistencies in service and food quality. Some dishes, such as the Tiger Prawn Linguini, fell short while others like the ox tongue were enjoyable. The overall atmosphere is comfortable with a good selection of affordable food, but some promises of festive specials were not delivered. Despite some hiccups, the restaurant is worth another visit based on the friendly staff and the delicious options like the salmon and slow-cooked short ribs.

Classic cuisine solidly prepared and presented. There is a chef in the kitchen! I enjoyed two meals; The shrimp and avocado salad, simple and fresh. The seabass special had two fresh filets with skin on. Very nice. French onion soup and roast rump of lamb excellent. You can’t go wrong here that’s why I retuned for a second meal. Staff very attentive.
I had sea bream fillets and they were very good. Great quality that reflects what you pay for.
Highly recommend visiting Toddy’s in the Gresham Hotel on O’Connell Street. We went as a large family group for food and drinks and it was amazing. Our waiter Lucas was fantastic, a great professional and so friendly. The food and drink were really good. I went for the vegan pasta and it was delicious. Go check it out if you are in the area. Great for large groups!
