The Spencer offers a fantastic atmosphere and delicious food at the East restaurant. The large portions of noodle dishes were tasty, with a favorite being the baileys dessert. On the downside, the hotel experienced issues with noise, untrained staff, and expensive parking. However, the modern hotel provides amazing views, comfortable rooms, and welcoming staff, making it a great option for a stay in Dublin. The bar offers a sexy boutique ambiance and unique cocktails. Ultimately, despite some drawbacks with noise and staff, The Spencer offers a stylish and comfortable stay with delicious dining options.
The bedrooms were really comfortable, well appointed. The housekeeping staff and reception staff were incredibly welcoming. HOWEVER probably one of the worst hotel breakfasts I’ve ever experienced, which is letting the whole hotel down. Huge queues, not enough space, panicked opening of extra tables, not opening for breakfast until 8am when there’s a conference next door starting at 8:30am. The quality of the food was really poor also. Such a shame, let’s the hotel down badly.
Nice hotel in the heart of Dublin city. Staff were lovely, bed was super comfy and was very appreciative of the blackout curtains. My one issue was the room tv needs an upgrade, something that can be streamed to, or has the apps. Bath was fantastic! Food and breakfast were delicious. Would recommend.
A little eloquent from the centre but well placed yet spacious room but view of the work, perfect breakfast very complete and very good in a pleasant room
Loved staying here so much we booked another nte. Great location. Lovely hotel with top facilities. Loved our balcony room with river view. Made it all the more special
Great location, great rooms with good shampoo conditioner etc but the breakfast was the downfall
