Contribute FeedbackO'Connells restaurant in Howth offers a mixed experience according to recent reviews. While some patrons praised the accommodating staff and delicious food, others expressed disappointment with the table arrangements, quality of dishes, and service inconsistencies. The Covid guidelines were appreciated by all, with the overall atmosphere being friendly and welcoming. Despite some setbacks, the traditional Irish pub setting, great value for money, and standout menu items, such as the chowder and dragon wings, make O'Connells a recommended spot for any occasion.
Love this place. Excellent food and service was very attentive. Lots of space in between tables and thought put Into current restrictions
Best fried calamari and mussels on the northside its just a pity we couldn't stay longer
Great night, great atmosphere and great service from Aoife and Evan. Merry Christmas to all the staff..
Absolutely beautiful food and atmosphere, couldn’t be any more grateful to the staff who were so lovely from start to finish. Highly recommend O’Connells to anyone, a beautiful spot
Reserved a table a week in advance however when we arrived we were told that our table was a raised bench with two Barstools sitting side by side with limited space. We asked for another table however we were told by the person allocating tables to get out if we weren’t happy. Have been there many times and our evening was ruined. Food average and Covid procedures were very lax. The Waitress however was very pleasant
