Wide menu. Great service. Very comfortable environment suitable for both an intimate and friendly dinner. Nice counter.

Amazing atmosphere, food is generally good but not mind blowing! Moreover service and atmosphere may vary depending on time and floor you end up in.
Murray's Bar on Upper O'Connell Street in Dublin offers a mix of positive and negative experiences, with some patrons praising the live music, friendly staff, and delicious food, while others criticize slow service and unwelcoming attitudes from some employees. The atmosphere is cozy, with a variety of beers and other drinks available. Prices may be a bit high, but the authentic Irish experience and regional music make it a mainstay for tourists and locals alike. Despite some shortcomings, Murray's Bar is a place worth considering for a visit in Dublin, offering a taste of traditional Irish charm.

Beautiful people and pub. I visit regularly on earth and always stop at murray’s. there is proper guinness, live music in the evening and eating is not bad.
Murrays bar is currently still in rebuild, but obviously soon finished. a small new neighbor, the thomas clark pub have already opened. very nice pub with comfortable factor, good music and great staff. prices are real for dublin!
Nice staff, great spot in the snug, good food, good selection of drinks. But only one option to watch sports and no alternative screening.

O’Connell street mainstay. Very good fish and chips and beef and Guinness stew. My wife loved the hearty stew and my cod fish and chips were crispy white and delicious. Beware. If you like ketchup very few restaurants have bottles. Most only have packets which is very frustrating. Live music and huge back room bar. Very cozy in front part. Highly recommend.
I had a great visit last Tuesday evening, I had the Irish Stew with the best soda bread I've tasted, it made up for my visit in July when they ran out and I was given normal bread and not told. Anyway, the service was spot on, Una paid absolutely 100% attention to detail and spoke about dietary requirements, (I'm not a fan of cheese or butter) and the selections of drinks and the evening entertainment., very informative. She was very quick at clearing, cleaning the table and others around which looks good with many other customers arriving for some evening drinks. I've been in many other restaurants and its a bugbear of mine where they leave it so good work there!! Oh and yes, those Guinness pints.... pulled to perfection, left to settle and brought over and drank too
Food was good, nothing to complain about. The entertainment was fantastic!! The band is so entertaining and talented and the dancers were awesome! Highly recommend. Thanks to Mumina for excellent service! I booked in advance and we were given table right in front of the band. Excellent!
My wife’s Irish stew was very good, and so was my fish and chips—the 2nd best I had (out of 5) in Ireland, and my wife. Both cost 20 euros. The ambience is nice. We arrived around 2 PM and were seated promptly, but the service was slow. When our server didn’t return with milk for my wife’s tea, I had to go over to the bar to get it. I noticed other patrons had to go to the bar to get drinks and food after waiting a long time for service.
We visited Murray's Bar three times; the first two visits were excellent with great service, good music, and delicious Guinness. However, our experience yesterday was very disappointing. After a 13-hour trip, we wanted to relax and enjoy the evening, but the waiter was unfriendly and rude, making us feel unwelcome. As a result, we couldn't appreciate the music or the beer. It’s a real shame, and I can’t recommend it. Additionally, the apple juice that was available on Wednesday was suddenly unavailable yesterday, and the apple crumble that was warm on Tuesday was served cold this time.
