Always enjoy going into McGraths as I did recently before a big Dublin football game. The place has loads of character and always has a nice buzz, especially on matchdays. Now to contradict myself a little bit, I always stay away on summer days when...there are games on because the place will be absolutely wedged and you'll be about ten deep to the bar! What User doesn't like about Mcgrath's:
I recently attempted to buy a drink at this bar on a Sunday evening during the June Bank holiday weekend. I was informed that they were closed, despite the fact that bars are permitted to serve until a certain hour and provide additional drinking-up time. Went here the day of the Roscommon/Armagh match. The was heaving and full to the brim with football supporters. Great atmosphere. Service was very good considering the size of the crowd. Staff took the time to have a little banter with the customers.
Visit here every time I do Croker. Amazing how they cope with the huge crowds. always courteous
Friendly service with a good atmosphere before games with plenty of room. Staff are efficient and always busy . No wasting time getting customers served and drinks out
Was here pre match in Croke Park, very friendly and efficient bar staff. Very nice pint of Guinness
It's a staple for the countryman. To hit Magraths pub but not for a Dub
