McGettigans is a lively Irish bar with a great atmosphere and friendly staff. While the food and pints are top-notch, a few downsides were the early closing time, noise levels, and higher menu prices. Despite this, many enjoyed the excellent food, refreshing beers, and efficient service, with some praising the welcoming environment and great steak. Overall, the bar received positive reviews for its service, decor, and food quality, making it a recommended spot for locals and visitors alike.

Had to meet a friend for a drink and he suggested Mcgettians and I was not disappointed. Didn’t have the food just drinks at the bar. The barman who was Irish gave us a laugh and was very prompt the bar was spotless and a couple of groups gave a nice vibe to it. Music was not so loudwe could have a conversation aswell as listen. Will defo be back.

Ate here Saturday 19/11. Very busy due to a glamorous function. Great cocktails, very nice food and friendly welcoming staff. Decent portions and reasonable prices. A good evening. Nice atmosphere.

We visited for the champions league final and we were looked after all day. The beers tasted great and the food was even better, some of the best wings i've ever had. I will be sure to visit again next time i'm in Dublin!

One two three four I DECLARE A THUMB WAR! Is what I said to the little goblin man hiding in the toilet. Safe to say I defeated him in battle and sent him on his merry way. You’re welcome mcgettigans! He won’t be bothering you any more…. I made sure of that. And if he ever re emerges from his slimy hole … I’ll be waiting. Good food the chips are lovely

A pub ideally located for the Bonnington Hotel… Plus, a rugby market with Ireland… The pizza is classic but good… The wait for your food gives you time to enjoy your Guinness…
