Ate lunch here in September. Lovely friendly atmosphere and service. Loved the food from start to finish, especially the cod chip' and the cockles Portuguese. To be honest it's all great, we had a selection of dishes between us and they were all excellent, even the butter is delicious. Can't wait to return. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Mamo:
The wine recommended was mediocre and overpriced. Portions were small. The turbot was made to be shared by two people lacked flavour and the presentation was very awkward. Our server had to slice it in two on the table. The wild halibut for the third member of our party was in fact quite acceptable with real flavour. Celebrated my daughter graduation and tried mamo for the big reviews. eating, ambiente and service was excellent. the rabbit pasta, lobster or so, pork-brain ordered. at the beginning I was a little sad to see the size of the food on the teller, but all tasted amazing and surprised to be full when we left. paid €200 for 3 people I think is worth the experience.
5 stars fall short for the great experience of mamo. from greeting at the door they know that the service will be a highlight of the experience. our meal was delicious, from the nibbles to the net, every bit was beautiful. the staff was beautiful, the wine selection was great and the atmosphere was quiet and welcoming. the journey to howth worth!

Me and my family ate at mamo on Sunday evening, and the food was delicious, so friendly and relaxed, the waiting staff were very attentive but didn't over impose, and had great knowledge of the menu, I didn't get the name of our waitress she was French, so friendly and great personality made us all feel so welcome, will definitely be returning to mamo
Very, very good restaurant. And for the quality, the price is reasonable in my opinion. Staff are wonderful, so helpful and friendly. There is a newer room upstairs which is cozy, almost like a living room. Even though its small, there is good distance between tables, and its not loud. The food is original, delicious, and beautifully presented. I'll be back!
