Great location, sea view, cheerful, friendly and professional staff
We stayed there for two nights! The service is amazing, the people are super kind, helpful and welcoming. The location is absolutely perfect. Not far from Dublin with the Dart, close to the waterfront, close to many shops and restaurants. You can enjoy afternoon tea, and they have their restaurant where we had a good dinner. The kids are very welcome everywhere (there were a lot of families in the hotel). Our room wasn’t super clean (the hotel was full on the day we arrived), and our window offered the view directly to another building. Not the best room probably. Also, the pool area looks amazing on the pictures. In reality it’s not as welcoming and relaxing, even if it’s nice to have. Note that you need a swimming hat and flip flops to access the pool, that they charge on top: 8€ for both. Lastly, the breakfast is perfect if you like Irish breakfast, I would suggest adding more healthy options.
We arrived at the Royal Marine Hotel a full day before our luggage. the moment we got to Reception we were greeted by the nicest staff. Everyone was trying to help in any way possible! After meeting Aubrey it was clear that training was a priority at the Royal Marine Hotels! I Attend an event there. The staff Hotel was really helpful.
Slow service, understaffed, ! Underground car park best suited to small vehicles only! Caters predominantly for older folk, limited seating, quality food mediocre, expensive for what we received.
