What Anonym dislikes about Dylan:
Went for afternoon tea. While the te was pleasant, nothing was top notch. It felt like they were surprised by our arrival, despite the booking, took mins to work out where they wanted to sit us. The person who delivered the afternoon tea couldn't tell us which sandwiches were the ones I could eat with my allergies, just that it had been accommodated. Food was fine, but not spectacular and for a bottle of sparkling wa... View all feedback.

The Dylan hotel is truly magnificent. This is an exceptional place! The rooms are nicely appointed and elegantly decorated. There is an espresso machine in each room. So you can make your own coffee. There's also a small mini fridge and is prestocked with some beverages and snacks that are available for purchase. The room is very quiet and the bed is very comfortable. The linens and pillows are top notch too. The staff is phenomenal. They have all the polish and professionalism that you would expect of a 5 star hotel. The Dylan is Dublin's only 5 star hotel. Patrick, who is The Matre' D, is fabulous, and his entire team takes great care of you when you're in the restaurant. The food is wonderful at the restaurant. There are a lot of creative dishes on their all-day menu. We dined in the Eddison restaurant for 3 morning s for breakfast. We also had the afternoon tea in the Ruby Room. Be sure to place your order and make a reservation for the afternoon tea at least 24 hours in advance. The dinner menu is phenomenal, featuring very creative chef driven recipes and an excellent wine selection. There are plenty of places to sit and enjoy the pub, lobby, or outside spaces. The neighborhood around Dylan is very walkable. 2 blocks over are small pubs, restaurants, a Tesco grocery store, and Boots Pharmacy. We strolled around the neighborhood each night. There is on street parking. Uber to central Dublin is about 10-12 Euros. The National Museum if Ireland is about 12 min walk. There is also a Big Bus Dublin hop on/off stop 10 mins away. From there you can see all the major sites from one bus line. We used the Go City pass and paid one low price to see everything. We will only stay at the Dylan when we return. The hospitality from the Dylan team really made our visit special.

This place is off the hook, great rooms, friendly employees, accommodating in every capacity. When the operations manager takes time to walk talk with you out to your taxi, it's amazing. Thank you for a great stay 2 times now.

DJ’d here for a private function. Beautiful hotel. Load-in not too easy. Bringing trolley with equipment through hotel reception isn’t ideal. Staff helpful and friendly. Event space is outdoors under a canopy, can get cold and heaters can get hot beaming down on you. Overall though, I would recommend this hotel for any event. Need a DJ for this venue?
