After a disastrous episode in weather spoons,we asked here for food. They had stopped serving but opened the kitchen for us and great bites . Thank you for rescuing us
I visited this restaurant for the first time on Saturday, November 19th. I noticed there was an elderly man behind the bar (whom I believe to be the owner) and a younger manager. Unfortunately, the manager seemed to bully the older man throughout my visit, which made the experience very uncomfortable and quite sad. It was disheartening to witness the mistreatment of such a kind elderly man by a despicable manager. This occurred around 7pm.
We only ventured in for a drink a couple of times but loved the relaxed, easy atmosphere and friendly staff. Obviously a popular place with locals and good background music......at a level you can still chat.
Lovely cosy atmosphere in this pub. The owners are really helpful and friendly too. Highly recommended!
Called in for a guinness. Lovely bar very friendly bar man. Guinness was superb, sorry i didn't find it sooner
