Got 3 meals one being a Rendang beef. The Rendang was just totally boring. The beef was good quality and plenty of it but totally dead when it comes to flavour. Best part went in bin. Sad. I’m a fan of Diep. Back to cooking at home me thinks

The food at diep is usually a good standard. Me and my family have ordered here regularly for years, a few times we had mistakes with our order but diep usually did their best to rectify any problem. However, earlier this year one of the delivery drivers took what I’ll describe as a personal dislike toward us. Delivering an order he became aggressive and verbally abusive which was a really upsetting experience and the lowest standard of personal service I’ve experienced. Before ordering he got annoyed on the phone when we asked to add a drink he said if we wanted a drink with the order we had to pay an extra delivery fee and place a separate order for a Coke Zero. Management apologised and because we’d ordered for so long we put it down to the driver having a bad day and we were assured he would no longer deliver to our address. Following this we continued to order he then began delivering again, two months later an item a main course was missing from the order when telling diep of the mistake the driver answered the phone and hung up on us eight times, made us wait three hours to receive the full order and again was aggressive and extremely rude. This time diep did nothing to redeem the experience and I’m genuinely shocked at the standard of customer service. To allow staff to be rude, aggressive, and just damn right mean to customers is beyond understanding. The fact diep didn’t respond to emails or complaints following this and continues to use this driver shows a lack of care. I’ve worked in customer service for years and no customer should ever be treated so poorly. Whenever there has been a mistake with our order we’ve always been polite and you’d expect the same in return. We will never order from here again.

I highly recommend steering clear of this place! I reached out to their customer service four times and received no response, so I felt compelled to leave a review. I ordered the mixed platter for €13, and it was completely inedible. It arrived in a bag that you would typically find at a gas station deli. When I called the restaurant to request a refund, the staff member told me they couldn't help and advised me to email instead. Unfortunately, it seems no one responds to emails either. The customer service is appalling, and honestly, this is the worst takeaway food I've ever experienced. Please avoid this restaurant at all costs.
