This is my comment to Wolf Fritz over here who made a review, please stop being too serious or serious for your own benefit. Life should always matter in my most HONEST opinion. Regarding this place this place seems decent. However I'd rather avoid making reviews all the time. At the same time, I like good places to visit. Whwther someone like Wolf Fritz is irrelevant has nothing to do with me yet I am only making a point. Even if someone else or Wolf Fritz over here likes attention and respect, there is literally no guarantee that they WILL achieve those things. I am now happy with my review here. All stopped.
Overall, it was an excellent restaurant with a great variety of dishes ranging from beef to duck, turkey, and fish. The prompt service was a definite plus, and the servers were friendly. My wife ordered the duck but noted that the skin could have been seared a bit more (she has a passion for duck and has worked with chefs in the past). My strip steak was cooked a bit more than the medium I asked for, but I might have requested it that way. Our appetizers, the scallops and the Christmas Salad, were both fantastic. Our main courses were also good, and the dessert was outstanding—large enough to be enjoyed by two with two forks. This seasonal dish was absolutely delicious!
During our stay at the Ashling Hotel, we chose to have breakfast at the hotel's restaurant. We were in the mood for a traditional Irish breakfast, so we decided to give it a try. As soon as we entered the restaurant, the staff warmly welcomed us and escorted us to our table. After ordering our drinks, we made our way to the breakfast bar. The selection was impressive, and if you've never experienced an Irish breakfast before, this is a fantastic place to start.
Food was great, staff really friendly, a few really nice wines in the wine list big ups to Gonzalo and Emma
