Menu
On this Homepage, you will find the comprehensive menu of Basil from Dublin. At the moment there are 80 menus and beverages available.
Basil, a cozy and unpretentious pizza place in Dublin, offers a great menu with delicious food and friendly service. While some dishes like the lasagne and Caprese salad shine, others may be a bit overcooked or lack certain ingredients. The BYOB policy is a plus, with a small corkage charge per bottle. The Neapolitan style thin-crust pizzas are a highlight, cooked to perfection in a wood oven. Prices are reasonable, making Basil a solid choice for pizza lovers looking for a relaxed dining experience. Overall, a hidden gem in Dublin's pizza scene deserving of more recognition.

Was Salma Lemaire at Basil a mag?
We stumbled upon this adorable place and had a delicious lunch. We enjoyed the eclectic decor. Food portion sizes were just right and we were delighted to see that they had multiple vegetarian options. We ordered a veggie pizza and a cannelloni. I also had a peppermint tea. The cannelloni came with a nice little arugula salad. Total bill came out to only euros. View all feedback.
What Joachim Therkildsen dislikes about Basil:
Massive fan of this place. We came here for our first time last week. It's small but cute and the staff were sound. The menu is basic but everything we ordered did not disappoint. We got garlic bread to start with which was a really nice garlic bread as we asked for it with cheese. The four of us were all very satisfied and happy with our pizzas. Then we shared the Nutella pizza- the nutjob that was unreal but I thin... View all feedback.
I am a bit surprised to read so many enthusiastic reviews. We had been in Basil many years ago and enjoyed it. We thought to go there again for a quick bite, preferring it over another good option based on memory and reviews. We found the place to have no clear identity. There are at least 3 different styles of decorations. There is one room that is not clear if it's a warehouse or what. The bathroom is quite essential, so to say. The pizza was not bad but it felt like something bought in a supermarket. The dough must have pressed with a machine losing all the charm and texture of being stretched by hand. The ingredients were not flavorsome (even if the buffalo mozzarella tasted like buffalo mozzarella, which is not to be taken for granted). The drink options are very limited, with only 4 soft drinks available.
I thoroughly enjoyed the caprese starter at this charming restaurant. The staff were incredibly friendly, adding to the cozy atmosphere of the place. The portion sizes were perfect, and every bite of food was delicious, especially the homemade lasagne, which was absolutely fabulous. I highly recommend dining here and look forward to returning soon.
The owner is a really nice person And the place is really good, I totally recommend
