we had a booking at 6pm. but the restaurant closes at 6pm. i wonder why we were able to do such a booking?? i was quite disappointed. only the friendly staff gets 5 stars, because they did not close the kitchen unless we had finished our dinner. but it was a rush through dinner at my birthday and not planned in that way. What Robert Popa Emil doesn't like about 1837 Brasserie At Guinness Storehouse:
Was expecting more food options . We originally booked for 6pm but thankfully we arrived early as by 6pm they were already dating last orders . Not impressed with Christmas decorations was expecting much more View all feedback.
Lovely ambiance and venue but food was not a good standard with limited menu. The food was mistimed too.
We had a booking of 18 o'clock, but the restaurant closes around 18 o'clock. I wonder why we could make such a booking? I was quite disappointed. only the friendly staff gets 5 stars because they didn't have the kitchen closed unless we had finished our dinner. but it was a rush through dinner to my birthday and not to this wisely planned.
The view was amazing. Definitely order the seafood chowder. The Guinness bread is also delicious. The beef and Guinness pie was okay, more like stew with a pastry top than a pie. They had a kids menu but weren't serving off it while we were there.
Great music for what was expected. Good was good. Service OK as they forgot my meal and kids dessert, but otherwise would go again
The personal was very attentive. only the thing is 1 dish had to be reset the roasted stack (ham cheese) that was ice cold? Maybe packed?
