Reviews - Trinity Quarter
Reviews summary
A trendy restaurant with amazing ambience but mixed reviews on the food. While some diners found the menu lacking vegetarian options and the dishes bland and overcooked, others enjoyed delicious meals and top-notch service. Some praised the COVID safety measures and outdoor dining experience, while others felt disappointed by high noise levels and slow service. The beautiful decor, friendly staff, and tasty cocktails were highlighted as positives, with raving reviews of the sea trout and tomahawk steak. Despite some inconsistencies, the overall consensus seems to be a positive dining experience with a few hiccups along the way.

What Anonym dislikes about Trinity Quarter:
I used to dine here regularly on a Sunday but after 2 disappointing meals in a row I gave the place a miss for nearly a year now. We were invited to a family meal so I was interested to see if the food had improved, unfortunately I have to say the food was still disappointing this time around. Its mediocre at best. A much smaller portion of overcooked chicken wings, the burger was just ok a bit like a Big Mac and the... View all feedback.

Visited on a Friday and took advantage of a great deal: one starter to share, two sirloin steaks with prawns in pepper sauce, and a bottle of wine—all for €60 for two people. The staff were excellent.
Gteat food, atmosphere and service. One of the best places to eat in Drogheda! Sunday lunch is best in town.

We dined at Trinity Quarter last night for their second-ever tasting menu, and it was an absolute delight. The theme, ‘Down South,’ featured dishes from egg yolk ravioli to beef brisket, with each course presented as a surprise. Over six courses, we enjoyed exceptional food crafted by local chef Alan Wilton that truly surpassed our expectations. The service was outstanding, with staff demonstrating great knowledge of the menu. At just €45 per person, the experience offered excellent value. We’re already looking forward to returning for another tasting night. Congratulations to everyone involved—it's fantastic to have such an initiative in our community.
Food was lovely good ambience but Daniel (I think was his name) in the downstairs restaurant area was literally the best. So helpful kind. Great vibes. Shoutout to Cathal too, he was great! Lovely cocktails too.
We visited Trinity Quarter last night for their second only tasting menu and wow, was it a treat. The theme was ‘Down South’ and ranged from egg yolk ravioli to beef brisket. Each course was revealed as a surprise. We had 6 courses in total, outstanding food from a local chef Alan Wilton. It exceeded all our expectations. The service is also worthy of a mention, it was fantastic and all the staff really understood the menu. At only €45 per head, it was also excellent value. We can’t wait to go back and try another tasting evening. Well done to everyone concerned. It is great to have such an initiative in our local area.
Excellent experience this Bank Holiday Saturday. Dinner with family. Food was absolutely fantastic. Service was excellent. All staff friendly, courteous and good at their job. Lost phone down sofa seat back and 3 staff took time and effort to retrieve it, undamaged! Definitely coming back.
I used to dine here regularly on a Sunday but after 2 disappointing meals in a row I gave the place a miss for nearly a year now. We were invited to a family meal so I was interested to see if the food had improved, unfortunately I have to say the food was still disappointing this time around. Its mediocre at best. A much smaller portion of overcooked chicken wings, the burger was just ok a bit like a Big Mac and the sticky toffee pudding was overcooked and dry. The only reason I’ve given 3 stars is because the staff are excellent. There is lots of other places around the town with much better food for a similar price. I left still hungry which was disappointing.

Came here on Sunday for a meal and a few drinks, could not recommend the place more. Fabulous dinner, the steak was cooked to perfection once the meal was finished we went to the gin bar and we were recommended different drinks by the lovely staff. Definitely try a few of the cocktails! Will absolutely be back!
Good food cooked to perfection and great service in a really nice venue... what more could you ask for. Cathy-anne and every staff member we came into contact with were so nice and on the ball with anything we asked for. The cocktails were absolutely divine and I would highly recommend the locally sourced crab claws followed by your steak of choice with a glass of pinot noir. The tomohawk is a beast to be reckoned with and will not let you down if you fancy a challenge at 18oz! I will definitely be back to explore the rest of the menu and the gorgeous gin garden, very nice vibes indeed.
Fab meal #Cut tonight followed by drinks at the Clubhouse great food, great staff, great atmosphere, best wishes to Cathyanne all staff at Trinity Quarter ... we will be back xx
Can't recommend highly enough. Had dinner here last night as a group of six and every one of us thoroughly enjoyed it. Food was excellent, very reasonably priced, decor is stunning and the staff are extremely helpful and polite. We can't wait to go back. Drogheda deserves a venue like this, a touch of class. Well done to all concerned especially Cathyanne and her staff. Fantastic new venue. You have to try it!
My husband and I just spent last 2 hours dining at Trinity Quarter. It had to be the nicest, tastiest meal we have enjoyed in a very long time. Highly recommend a visit you won’t be disappointed amazing. A special thanks to Caitlin for her professionalism, warmth and care over the evening. Now for some live music here

Lauren team was fantastic in providing a great night for my sisters hen party. Every employee was helpful and funny. We had a group of 14 for dinner with a stand for dancing. The dishes and drinks were a big hit on the board, 5 guests on non-alcoholic drinks also had great cocktail, gin and beer options! Do not hesitate to recommend for a couple or group night, something for everyone.
Hello my son Željkoslav (also known as “treća sreća” in our loving family) is studying nanotechnology about the physical science flow. He loves it here, he says that the bathrooms are clean, but the trinitone scare him, not sure who that is, so that you lose the one star except this beautiful campus loads of friendly and pretentious snobs
Nice menu, great service, inexpensive. The severity ruined the dinner as it ruined the dinner as it was too salty. Never tasted this salty engraving. My starter would have been nice as if the cook had an accident with the salt. I have mushrooms and spinach on roasted zabatta, but the sauce was too salty. I had a sound like gandhis flip-flop after. Maybe he should try his sauces first before he serves them. I like salt, but none of us could tolerate the salt volume in our sauces. I would go back here if they balanced out the taste of the salt, as it was over the top, which meant that we were excavated with thirst for the rest of the day. We didn't order dessert because we were too full after our starter and main course. I never needed water between courses before. The waiter was very attentive and on the ball. Very friendly staff.
A mix of all ages, large venue different genre of music on each floor, so fit to all. Fab cocktails and very reasonable. Great staff and good atmosphere.
