Massive pub with a fantastic beer garden! Staff are always lovely and have a great selection of drinks and zeros.
The pub is just passing Laurance's gate and it doesn't seem to be as huge as it is from outside. Once you enter you have the main bar, then the lounge and after an even bigger beer pub with an extra outside sitting area. I'd recommend to put speakers on the beer garden to improve the atmosphere a little bit. The staff is gentle and they help you if you hold lot of beers! Important to mentions is about the Mexican food truck that is there serving food from 8pm.
Thoroughly enjoyed our evening there on Friday. Very relaxed cosy friendly place. Fantastic service and perfect background music. We could chat away in comfort
Love it. Family pub and I know the family from Auld Son to Jockers
Located in one of most historic parts of town . Great atmosphere and attentive staff. Live music/ sports bar out in the massive beer garden is a experience to share.
