Been coming here for around 18months since moving to Drogheda and the service has always been terrible. Youd be hard pushed to find a member of staff that actually smiles and it seems a lot of them stand around doing nothing. Visited today and it really took the biscuit. If you have a sweet tooth then this place is just the ticket. A huge selection of delicious cakes and buns that need to be tasted to be believed.
I really enjoy McCloskeys Bakery. They always prepare everything fresh and delicious. I especially love ordering cakes from there for special occasions and they always do a fantastic job.
Passing through Droheda and stopped off in McCloskeys for breakfast. Great value, full Irish 6.50 euro, great variety of foods. Fast effecient service and toilets were spotless. Definitely recommend.
What fantastic cakes and buns. Got a cake here the weekend. It was so fresh and tasty. Would recommend for all occasions.
The coffee is perfect but the cakes (cream cakes) are all filled with Nick cream . This is the only negative thing we have to say about this bakery. I advise you did downstairs as it can get very noisy upstairs.
