I have purchased cakes from this establishment numerous times over the past few years. They are the most delicious cakes in the area, always fresh and delightful.
Visited here for a cake on Mother's Day with my daughter. My first impression was that the staff weren't very welcoming heads down, no smiles, not how customer service should be. I got what I thought was a cream slice and my daughter got a muffin. The cream wasn't fresh cream which was a big let down and there was very little of it on the cream slice which made it very dry to eat, it was basically a waste of calories!
Passing through Droheda and stopped off in McCloskeys for breakfast. Great value, full Irish 6.50 euro, great variety of foods. Fast effecient service and toilets were spotless. Definitely recommend.

Been coming here for around 18months since moving to Drogheda and the service has always been terrible. Youd be hard pushed to find a member of staff that actually smiles and it seems a lot of them stand around doing nothing. Visited today and it really took the biscuit. I was the only person in the queue and it took 5 minutes to ve served. Asked for a brown roll sub to which the girl asked for confirmation 3 times and when i back to work to eat it...it was made on white. Food is fine, normal cafe food but someone really needs to work on their customer service
