Description

Agave, a restaurant often praised for its vibrant flavors, has garnered a range of opinions from visitors. While some have raved about the friendly staff and generous portions, especially the Carne Asada tacos and signature salsa, others have faced disappointing encounters with slow service and lackluster food quality. Detractors criticized the use of low-quality ingredients and inconsistent dishes, ranging from overly spicy salsa to dry tamales. Despite these varied experiences, many agree that when dining in the area, Agave is worth a visit for its unique offerings and welcoming atmosphere, though expectations should be tempered.

I discovered this restaurant today and was pleasantly surprised by my experience. The food was incredibly flavorful, and I left feeling very satisfied. There aren't many dining options in Ashton, especially after visiting Teton National Park, but I would definitely recommend this place. I tried the Carne Asada, a super burrito, and tacos, and everything was delicious. Their salsa had a nice kick, striking a great balance between heat and flavor. The Kohl salsa was unique and quite enjoyable as well.

This place is really great! We had a huge party of 11 and we were sitting and had quick and friendly service. The Carne Asada Tacos were really good. They are on par with the taste of genuine authentic tacos. The portion sizes and plates were HUGE! They also have horchata that was delicious.

I can't believe I'm having another 5-star food review on small Driggs, Idaho. A large white Mexican place, as I call it, with absolutely amazing mole, chips are fresh and not excessively thin as some places. Fresh spicy cabbage and salsa were served. I tried the Chile Relleno I don't always like from any place, but after the mole I trusted it would be good. (It was very. Rice and roasted beans were also honestly large by themselves. Server was friendly. When I come back, I will try to refresh the coal beans and maybe an enchilada or two.

I went to the restaurant with my daughter and grandson, and they absolutely loved it! The salsa was too spicy for my taste, but they thought it was just right. My tamale was a bit dry, but the enchilada and taco were both good. I'll definitely try something different next time. The place was quite busy, but the service was good.
