Vorwerk Podemus Biobahnhof - Dresden

Aside from it being one of the few places to buy groceries on a Sunday, it's so great to have an organic supermarket at the train station. We never have to waste time thinking about picking up healthy snacks beforehand, we can just conveniently get them before hopping on the train. They have the typical German health store vegan options, soy yogourts, an organic bakery, fruits veggies, etc.

A well-organized store with a lot of vegan, organic amd fairtrade food and drinks. Members of staff are mostly well-informed and are quite friendly. Even on sundays you can shop there. Love it!

As we were on the go with the train and needed some for our picnic dinner for the next days, we dived there and our surprise found many vegan products, even a delicious cream cheese. they also have a large selection of vegan spreads and of course all vegan basic products such as various soy and nut milk, soy yogurt and some faux meat and ham. as all shops in the city are closed on Sundays, this seems to be the only place where they can buy health products on Sunday.

I found this shop by accident when waiting for a train and I just wish I had had a coolbox to take more stuff home there is a really big selection of vegan options especially yoghurts, ice-creams and soy/tofu sausages. It's also great that the shop is open on Sundays as most grocery stores in Germany are closed on this day.

Not all vegan items labeled, so they have MORE vegan stuff than meets the eye. Good e.g. for breakfast items which are very rate to non-existent in the many cafés in Dresden. Huge selection of eveything that is food. Very well connected by public transport since store located inside of main train station.
