What Kerstin Großmann doesn't like about Barceloneta Wine & Tapas Bar:
speisen: we have ordered different tapas. The ambiente/ map with corresponding trips sets certain expectations. Unfortunately, at a tapas is absolutely not felt, therefore the only satisfactory evaluation: mushroom carpaccio for approx. 7-8€ Anticipation:Different mushrooms thin cut tasty self-made sauce with it unidentified tomante/ salat what came: a large mushroom thin cut 2x small tomato halved some rucola simple... Context: Table reserved for persons, pm restriction due to pandemic rules in Saxony (we knew), conditions very neatly checked, thank you for accuracy! (this reputatio is, why we came Table service information: Pay bill at pm, drink up at leisure then...in the next min, then leave Food: Good food, goes well with the excellent wine selection Wine advice: Very competent, accommodating, responsive to guests' individual wishes. Service: everything good, min before pm still asked for last order, min before pm from the boss (sic ordered (billed and paid) wine poured at the table. At p.m. the bill for euros tip was duly paid to the very obliging, competent service staff, we had not yet finished glasses of wine, wanted to complete in the next minutes, as advised at the beginning. BOSS of the shop comes, clears the table without any questions, does not respond to the hint of other information regarding the last minutes (see above), internal communication problem (explicit hint from us) ignored, SHOUTS US OUT WITH THE NOTICE THAT WE COULD READ AND KNOW THE CONDITIONS OUT! We then took the wine we had already paid for in the glasses to the door, emptied it on the pavement at our leisure, left glasses in front of the restaurant/bar. WE WOULD HAVE EXPECTED THIS HELPFUL HINT (BECAUSE OF SHERIFF FEAR FROM THE BOSS! We feel sorry for the very competent service staff! To simply negate the employee in front of the guests without comment ... is also a management style. No further comment. Reason for summarily only star (less is not possible): Advice and drinks food official communication (boss, who sat in front of his PC in the dining room all evening with a mask on and somehow didn't fit into the actually cosy ambience) MINUS FIVE Conclusion: Recommendation: yes but only if the boss (as on previous visit) is NOT present! WE never again! (no Corona deniers ricochets etc., ... normal guests who expect courteous service commensurate with the price and an open willingness to communicate no arrogant Berlin snout (we are all NOT from Dresden who often feel suppressed by Berliners Tip to the service staff we enjoyed your advice VERY much we feel sorry for you! We would be very happy to come back to you at another place! I will be happy to answer any questions personally I have never experienced anything like this before! Eric Schoop

Located in the hip Neustadt neighborhood, this place is worth seeking out no matter where you stay in town. The owner is hands on and has confidence in his food for good reason. Everything we had was delicious and as with all good tapas, things...are done with a certain art form that makes them unique.
This is a great palce to learn about German wines and have some good tapas food. The owner is a certified somm, so he knows a lot and can be a good source of info. He also has extensive competence in Spanish wines. If you...like wine, this is the place to go in Dresden. It is nicely locate on a very hip street, so sitting outside you just enjoy the festival of the street. The place is also great just to enjoy a beer.
A really good place to just sit and watch the world go by. Landskron beer, a really good wine list, and some nice food to go with it. The three cheese selection was great, and the person serving was friendly and funny. An interesting area...and very eclectic. I have no idea what the previous reviewer commented about being ripped off as I wasn't there, but I found our service fun, honest and pleasant with very good English far better than my German!! Actually told us to start with the house wine as a good opener rather than push us up the price list.
