The Stone Kitchen offers a mixed bag of dining experiences, characterized by commendable food and a family-friendly atmosphere. Many guests praise its diverse children's play areas and child-centric service, enhancing the family dining experience. However, recent reviews point to inconsistent service, with some visitors reporting long waits and neglect. While highlights like the delicious lamb shank and personalized touches have delighted patrons during special occasions, others have left feeling disappointed. Despite these fluctuations, the establishment remains a popular choice for gatherings, particularly for families, thanks to its inviting ambiance and varied menu. Reservations are recommended, especially during busy periods.

What Anonym dislikes about The Stone Kitchen:
bad service!!! we were brought to our table, then after 20 minutes we had only sandra, the waiter, come to us who never came back or checked on us. we wanted to order more drinks and eat, but because of their neglect we paid and left. I feel honest bad service, bad tip. View all feedback.

We have been regulars for two years now, but I must say the last two visits were less than satisfactory. Maybe it was the timing, January 2nd, but it was definitely not the same experience. The food took ages to come and when it did, it was half its former portion. The avo was almost non existent as well as the bacon portion(on the wrap). Service was disappointing and lacklustre. All in all, I do not know if I will go back. Maybe because of past good experiences will make one more effort.

I requested a personalized dessert plate for our special guest and boy oh boy it was indeed a show stopper.May God bless your business Carmen and may The Stone Kitchen go from strength to strength. We recently spent a night at Dunstone Estate in Wellington and were lucky enough to dine at the Stone Restaurant for both dinner and breakfast… both very different settings and both thoroughly enjoyable. <br/ <br/ Dinner was in the restaurant/winery and was available as a 3 course set menu. It was incredibly warm and cozy with romantic candlelit tables throughout. Dinner was delicious For starters we had a parma ham and melon salad fresh, light and tasty. Next was fillet steak on a bed of potato wedges and topped with julienne veg and a peppercorn sauce the steak tender, melt in your mouth goodness and the peppers and courgette were a welcome addition (one I will definitely have again with full and balanced flavours. Dessert was Eton Mess the perfect ending.<br/ <br/ Breakfast was served in the gardens of the Stone Kitchen and our full English breakfast and coffees went down a treat. Peaceful, yummy and what a wonderful start to our day : <br/ <br/ Fantastic service, food, views and setting.

I visited this restaurant on a beautiful Saturday morning for breakfast, and the scenery was stunning. They have lovely outdoor tables nestled among the guava trees. The service was delightful, with friendly staff. Unfortunately, the coffee didn't meet my expectations. As for the food, it was decent. I ordered the French brioche with bacon, while my wife had the poached eggs with smoked salmon and cream cheese. It wasn't anything particularly exciting, but we still enjoyed our morning. There are great areas for kids to play, including a petting zoo section.
