I came here on a Sunday around 11 for breakfast and left after discovering that the wait was about an hour. My husband and I came again around 8 a.m. on a Saturday and had no problem getting a table. The staff was friendly and prompt. I appreciated the seasonal offerings and healthy choices. My husband enjoyed his French toast, which looked tasty. I had the health freak combo. I ordered a waffle with a stubborn ingredient and was told it could be made vegan. I have a milk allergy, so I can quickly tell when someone is trying to deceive me. I decided to try the Cuban sandwich because they offered a unique variation of it. Personally, I prefer the traditional Cuban sandwich. While it wasn't terrible, I still prefer the classic version. Overall, I enjoy dining at the Turning Point and would recommend it to others. I have visited this restaurant before and had a great experience.
An example of Elly's attention to detail that truly impressed me was when I noticed that the glasses were often cloudy at this location. Elly promptly identified the issue as a need for a water softener, and after contacting headquarters, she had one installed. As a result, the glasses are now clean and sparkling. Elly always takes a proactive approach, and her positive attitude is truly infectious.
The food was all very good. The hot cocoa and specialty lemonade were excellent.Kid-friendliness: It is kid Friendly.
Wait for 6 was over an hour. Hosts and hostesses should be turning tables over much quicker. Food is not of the caliber to justify the wait. Server was very friendly and food was ok.
Overall disappointing experience with take out this morning. The waffle was on point, but the combo elements were lacking (see photo). We also ordered a western omelette that was overcooked and had minimal fixings. Both orders came with the breakfast potatoes which were dry, chewy, and not freshly made. For the price of each dish the quality is substandard.
