The Flame Broiler - Downey

I haven't visited a Flame Broiler in a long time because I've been busy with work and exploring different restaurants and cuisines. However, I really enjoyed my recent experience there. The food is healthy, made to order, and prepared fresh daily. They also offer a happy hour deal on weekdays from 2 to 4 PM, featuring a mini chicken dish and a drink for just $7.50, which is a great value.

It won't go back. This is the second time they served me precooked meat and I was served some tiny last bits that were old, cold and dry. You have the bowl with 3 pieces of fresh chicken... I guess they thought it would fool me.

The chicken bowl tasted good. I haven't had one in a long time. When I got home, I compared it with the bowl from my last visit and found that the bowl size was now much smaller than the original size bowl. The price was still higher.

I was picking up a dozen individual orders and I got excellent customer service. All orders were reviewed with me and 100% accurate. I asked for them to be ready at 11:45 and they were ready exactly on time. Good to not be early as the food would be cold and good not to be late so I didn't have to wait. The man working put them in a box for me and carried them to my car.

I particularly like this chain and location. I can count on a solid somewhat healthy meal and it works all the time. Staff is very friendly and most times it seems they operate with a smaller staff. They are efficient and make it look
