Pita Gr: Greek Street Food - Downey

Host family in the environment and was looking for something delicious and healthy to eat. I have to give this to my wife who found it, the restaurant was clean, the staff was friendly, the food was delicious and the prices were on the spot! if they want a delicious Mediterranean chow to go cheap, they must stop above all when they are an austergenist.

Pita GR:Greek Street Food is the best place for Greek or Mediterranean food. Everything is made fresh daily and also made to order. Their lamb Gyro is amazing good so much flavors in the Gyro. They also have classic Greek items.

Pita GR is one of my favorite Mediterranean food places around. The food is very flavorful and the fries are delicious. A pita meal with fries is definitely filling and they are generous with the meat. Highly recommend the pork!!

I've been to great greek food restaurants and had great greek food. This is not one of them. I realize there is a distinct difference between fast food and home made but in either case overcooked and burnt food is NOT acceptable.As always, I believe in second chances. Maybe the cook was having a bad day (who doesn't). Maybe it was luck of the draw..idk second time around will tell.Service is what is expected of a quasi fast food /sit down restaurantOne thing is certain, know what you want PRIOR to ordering to avoid awkward hold up and ordering.On the bright side (because everything has a positive) the cucumber water was great! First time customer. Food was beyond Amazing. Staff was so so friendly and the place was spotless clean. You could eat off the floor. Highest recommendation. I am going back tomorrow.
