The atmosphere can feel chaotic, like being in the kitchen yourself. The staff seem overwhelmed, especially those responsible for cleaning tables quickly without a break. There are also issues with seating and overcrowding, leading to shortages of utensils and slow service. The food is expensive, and some customers have been observed treating the staff rudely without consequence. One staff member in particular was repeatedly reprimanded for trying to handle multiple tasks at once. Despite the greasy food, the ice cream here is outstanding. Unfortunately, the restaurant's chaotic reputation detracts from the positive aspects of their menu.

Many places were crowded, so we decided to try this place which had a reputation for being good. However, I must say that it was disappointing. The chips were soggy, just like the weather that day, and the fish was dripping with grease. I only ate it because I was very hungry. When we complained to the staff, their attitude was not satisfactory. The excuse given was that because I had eaten the food, it must have been fine. However, I only ate it out of desperation. The quality of the food was not worth the expensive price we paid. This place may have been good in the past, but we will not be returning.

It certai... read more They had run out of chicken box meals so we opted for fish suppers. This choice proved to be a mystery in two ways, the first being what type of fish. It certainly didn't appear to be cod or haddock. The second was where to find the fish in the mass of batter. I think the true description should have been batter with a touch of fish. Tomato (a slice) and coleslaw was also served I think the main reason for those components was to fill the plate. The chips were ok and piping hot. I cannot, in all faith, recommend this establishment.
