Nestled near vibrant walking trails, this restaurant boasts a lovely setting with an inviting atmosphere highlighted by charming decor and friendly staff. However, reviews reveal a concerning trend in both food quality and service. Many diners have described the burgers as bland and overly dry, comparing them to subpar roadside fare. Instances of long wait times and incorrect orders have contributed to a disappointing experience, overshadowing the otherwise pleasant environment. While some visitors appreciate the fresh ingredients and the ambiance, the inconsistent food and service have left many hesitant about returning for another meal.

Hard to credit that you’re sitting in a large double wigwam structure, but just a few miles from Downpatrick. There’s some sort of external heaters, which blow hot air in, but keep your coat on! We had a family visit, feasted on the Fodder breakfast,... View all feedback.
What Gdr1245 dislikes about Fodder Ni:
Firstly the setting is lovely. Food and service are shocking. Had tried breakfast a while ago and wasn't impressed but decided to give it a try for lunch. This was a mistake. Food is ridiculous for the price. Dry burger tastes only of onion. No other flavour. Dexter beef ????????? Service is poor. Rude, unhelpful staff. Won't be back. View all feedback.
We enjoyed our time here very much. we eat in the big teepee next to the log fire. the staff was nice and friendly and the food was excellent, very enjoyed. there was also a musician who played an acoustic guitar and sang, he was great and had selected a decent setlist. picked up a souvenir cup and went on a few tracks in the wood. would recommend it to everyone in the opposite.
For the first time just before ostern from newtownabbey. it is a beautiful place and we have treated ourselves with coffee and cake, which was beautiful, but a tad expensive. the hiking trails can be seen with magnificent views over the lake and wild flowers on the way. I thought the trails were a little short.
This is a place where you can really get back to nature. it is in the round a restaurant in a huge tent with tables inside and outside. and most if not all food produced in finnebrogue or locally. their burgers, vegetarians and meats, are pointed notches. you will never be satisfied with a fast food burger again.
I absolutely adore this restaurant - the setting is fabulous, the food is outstanding, and the staff are excellent. They are incredibly accommodating and friendly, always going above and beyond to make sure everything is perfect. They are very attentive to dietary restrictions, especially allergies. This is our favorite go-to restaurant and I highly recommend it.
This is a lovely spot off the beaten track. They have lovely short trails to walk with the dogs, with beautiful scenery of the forest and the lake ahead. The food is not great but we would definitely recommend the coffee and hot chocolate. A beautiful place to visit in Winter with all of the fairy lights lit above the teepee tents. Will visit again.
