Was Robert Popa Emil at East Essence a mag?
Food excellent, service 1st class. Restaurant been revamped which is very nice but the only thing missing was just a bit of soft background music which would have filled the empty atmosphere. Many thanks, beautiful meal. View all feedback.

After reading reviews looking at menu, was really looking forward to visiting this restaurant .. I 'm struggling to say anything positive. The service was slow and a couldn 't be bothered attitude was evident. The waitresses spent more time talking with a pal who was dining rather than work. No complimentary prawn crackers served. Main complaint was the meal was not hot, clearly it had been sitting waiting on waitres... View all feedback.
Omg after reading some of the negative reviews we have almost not visited this restaurant. but luckily we have a visit and wow. eat awesome, staff amazing, service faultless HAPPY/SMILEY.... thank you for being there! please note them when they read the negative reviews that some people just find out to find mistakes and complain! we really couldn't blame. not even the prices (actually not expensive huge thanks to all employees of karen and marcus
Perfect as always, everytime we are in Ardglass we go here for dinner. It is always fab
I always get a very satisfactory meal here many a weekend. And the staff are very good. Good lay out too.
Absolutely fantastic restaurant, food was lovely and the service was freindly and quick, 1st rate.
Great takeaway food. Edit: We've been using East Essence for about 2 years and been very impressed by their food and quality. However recently they've stopped taking card payments. I only use card and haven't used cash in about 5 years. I really don't understand why they'd remove a modern and convenient payment method and force me to go a mile away to get old-fashioned cash. There are other Chinese restaurants nearby who take cards, so I guess I'll be using these from now on.
