Bears Den Tavern - Dover-Foxcroft

Booked a cabin with a single queen bed and specifically chose that cabin. When we arrive we we told that the switched our cabin to a different one and we’re told it was the same. They blatantly lied. It was a full size bed with bunk beds. We drove over an hour on my birthday for this visit. They could have called and checked if we still wanted it instead of lying when we arrived. No apologies, no offer for anything else. Will never return to this poorly run business.

Loved it! Ordered a yummy cheeseburger well done and it came out perfect! Fried were nice and hot and the onion rings were awesome. Also had the strawberry shortcake for dessert and was soooo impressed with this old fashioned homemade dessert. Just like when I was a kid! And friendly service!

Great place to stop when hitting the trails.. great down home cooking and road sodas.

The sandwiches were totally wrong.. the bread so dry it literally disintegrated. My friend ordered hot pastrami and got cold on the same dry bread....i got a replacement blt with my original soggy fillings but on 1 piece of bread.. so I paid for a whole sandwich but got a half... also gave us both back the same stone cold fries.. was ridiculous.. the server was very nice and NOT responsible for the mess.. was offered a small comp on the mistakes..we got 1 soda taken off...sad
