Grinders Above Beyond Of Dover

We stopped in for lunch today (June 29) We eat at Grinder's regularly because the food is consistently good but today was a disappointment. Our server was ok, but it wasn't busy and we waited 25 minutes! for a wrap and a salad! The manager on duty was walking around totally oblivious to the customers...I watched three other tables wait for their check to be picked up and they finally just went to the register themselves and threw down the money and left.. the manager didn't approach any tables or explain why our food was taking so long. She could clearly see we had nothing! The Louisville location is never like this! Won't be going back to Dover location.

It was one of the best steak grinders I've ever had. I asked for meat and mayo only, They put bacon on it. This was the best mistake that ever happened because I'll never be ordering it again without bacon. It was amazing!

Service is terrible. We waited 15 minutes to even be greeted at our table and order drinks. Our waitress visited another table 3 times before coming to greet us. We received our food before getting our appetizer since they evidentially “forgot to put them in.” Also had a side forgotten. She never came back to check on us until we were completely done eating. Never got refills on our drinks or offered dessert. At that point we had been there over an hour and just ready to go home. Don’t think we’ll be back to this location!

Perfect portion sizes, no long wait for food, attentive service and reasonable prices, would definitely recommend it
