Frozen prepared food. Taco Bell quality stuff. Rice was the best thing about my lunch. The beans were a puréed mess. Asked for a tamale with my meal, it came as I was finishing up. I have the Mole pork. It’s was mole sauce blended with Bbq sauce. Hmm nothing Mexican about that. It’s a one and done kinda place if you are a foodie.

Our waitress w... read more First time at El Nopal for lunch today. The place was so clean, decorated very cute. Everything looked really well maintained and very welcoming. Our waitress was just ok. She wasn't super pleasant, she forgot our queso dip and our extra sour cream. She wasn't the worst, but def wasn't the best. Food was good, salsa was yummy. Service was fast. Was super excited to see live music on a Friday afternoon, and the gentlemen playing was amazing. Snagged his card on the way out (Tre Myers), hope to see him back there next time.

Just horrible! I ordered the chicken burrito, steak burrito, enchiladas 2 cheese, 1 chicken, 1 beef , and the chicken, steak and shrimp fajita platter. The stea... read more Just horrible! I ordered the chicken burrito, steak burrito, enchiladas 2 cheese, 1 chicken, 1 beef , and the chicken, steak and shrimp fajita platter. The steak on the burrito was cold. The enchiladas were SMOTHERED in mole sauce, the chicken enchiladahad no seasoning and was dry, the beef enchilada was just plain fried hamburger. The refried beans were runny, probably becausethey were dehydrated instant beans. The fajitas tasted good after you get past the pound of fried peppers, but you only getextra small tortillas to put it on. The server if you can call her that brought out the food with no plates to put anythingon and only 2 sets of plastic ware. We had 3 in our party and I had to go ask for plates and more forks. When she came to checkon us she asked if we were doing ok. I told her everything was terrible, she told someone behind the counter what I said. Nobodycame to follow up on that. When I cashed out they still didn't ask how anything was. We hardly ate any of the food, nor did wetake it with when we left. I honestly don't know how they have the good reviews that they have. But, my son is in the Air Forcehere and he'll be sure to tell the rest on base they should skip this place and just go to Taco Bell.
