Description

China Yan presents a varied dining experience, with opinions swinging widely among its patrons. While some diners criticized the greasy, low-quality offerings and lackluster buffet options post-COVID, others celebrated the flavorful dishes like Zha Jiang Mian and generous portions, particularly the renowned beef teriyaki. The attentive staff and efficiency in service earned praise, although the ambiance and utensil choices left something to be desired. Many customers have found a reliable favorite in this restaurant, appreciating the authentic Chinese menu alongside American-Chinese staples, proving that for some, China Yan remains a hidden gem in the community.

After seeing the previous reviews, I was uncertain if I should give up this place a bit. I have the chicken lo mine and the general tso’s chicken. I couldn't be happier with the quality and eating. I plan to get the food here whenever I desire Chinese food, as it is the best Chinese food spot in the opposite.

Food is okay.... The WORST service I have ever experienced in my entire life. I am not sure how their still in business. I will never spend another cent there.

Loved the buffet when it was open but with covid it has been closed. The menu is extensive with something for everyone. I have been going here for years, it's my husband's and my favorite place for Chinese.

Some of the food was ok most was not good at all they have styrofoam plates and plastic utensils and no one felt right after eating there. Friendly staff though.

Ordered the chicken chow mein dinner special with chicken fingers for myself and got… mini pork spare ribs maybe? instead. Rice was soggy and had no flavor and the chicken fingers were also mini sized and mushy. My husband at least got his correct order, General Tso’s chicken which he could barely eat as it was mostly just fried breading, same with the crab rangoons which he describes as terrible and had to spit out. Highly disappointing after waiting over an hour.
