Rice was soggy and had no flavor and... read more Ordered the chicken chow mein dinner special with chicken fingers for myself and got… mini pork spare ribs maybe? instead. Rice was soggy and had no flavor and the chicken fingers were also mini sized and mushy. My husband at least got his correct order, General Tso’s chicken which he could barely eat as it was mostly just fried breading, same with the crab rangoons which he describes as terrible and had to spit out. Highly disappointing after waiting over an hour.

The egg roll was chewy like it was refried. The ribs were were little bits, ragoons, chewy and dry... I could go on... but it all ended up in the trash.

At 9:30pm, we ordered rangoons, golden chicken fingers, beef teriyaki, pork fried rice and beef lo mein. Our food was ready in 15 minutes. When I tell you China Yan has the best beef teriyaki I’ve ever tried, I am not exaggerating in the least. I don’t even like beef teriyaki but I was fighting my boyfriend for the last piece. There must have been 200 chicken fingers stuffed in our box. Rangoons were perfect, pork fried rice was a massive portion, and beef lo mein (it’s chow mein but New Englanders call it lo mein) was fantastic. Literally the best Chinese I’ve ever had. Thank you for making our Christmas ???
