While some diners rave about the clam chowder, delicious shareable portions, and attentive staff, others express dissatisfaction with the food quality and dated atmosphere. Compliments highlight the friendly service and prompt kitchen times, making it a decent spot for a casual meal. However, issues like overcooked seafood, underwhelming flavors, and cash handling mishaps have been reported. Overall, the restaurant may appeal to locals and vacationers for a laid-back dining experience, but it struggles to stand out amidst fierce competition in the region's vibrant culinary scene.
We had a fantastic meal at this restaurant on Good Friday. I ordered the shrimp cocktail while my friend tried the clam strips. The portions were generous and the clam strips were absolutely delicious.
I advise against paying with cash at this restaurant. Unfortunately, I was shortchanged by my waitress tonight. My bill came to $47.45 and I paid with $100 cash. I only received $45 in change when I should have received...
This restaurant is a tired and small old establishment that likely hasn't been renovated or updated in 30 years. Despite having two waitresses working, the place felt outdated.
Great service! My mother left her wallet at her table while having dinner. We called the restaurant the next day and the gentleman on the phone was so kind and asked us if he could go into it and verify her name. All the money and everything she owned was still there! The waitress who you could tell was very busy was very kind and made them feel welcome. The steamers were delicious.
Local chain, this can be their best location. Okay, food and equipment.
