Description

Nestled on the waterfront, this charming restaurant combines a welcoming atmosphere with attentive staff and a dog-friendly policy. While diners rave about the delicious breakfast options and robust coffee, opinions on value and consistency are mixed. Some have found the portion sizes and pricing disappointing, while others celebrate hearty meals and efficient service. The décor enhances the experience, making it an appealing spot for families and casual visitors alike. Privilaged and felt so lucky we were able to get a table on a walk in basis on a busy Saturday afternoon! Honestly from the service to the food it was all 5 star quality. My husband, 2 children and I from the moment we walked in felt welcome and so relaxed. The food is just delicious there are no other words, will recommend to anyone wanting to find a diamond in a small town this is the place to go. Definitely will be returning and telling all our family and friends Thank you

I mean, it was a very long wait to be asked for what we wanted, even the drinks took at least 10 minutes to come which were Thickshakes (which was warm and tasted like milk and the brownie one was great at first yhe brownie was nice but then it tasted like someone left a digestive in their tea too long and it had crumbs and milk yuck. They were polite to replace the very warm banana shake (for the fact it was warm which was no better. I 've worked in a milkshakes company and my gosh, the difference and also the fact they should be checking their freezer temperature for the right consistency. The food was cooked nicely, I felt the sausages were quote pink but google says they 're safe too eat. I 'm vegetarian but my daughter isn 't so we just went with it as well as no staff seem to come over to check up on food or even notice the looks or hands up to ask to be waited I felt jt was easier to let it go. They forgot out cutlery, had to ask for that luckily a table next to us was served so we was able to ask at that time. Finally we had eaten, we waited at least 10 minutes for someone to give us the bill after numerous attempts of putting hands up and direct eye contact (we did go up for sugar and we went up for a change on our choices which later they tried to overcharge as an adult price which was a child 's lunch but they did erect it kindly but they didn 't seem to happy or inviting for us to walk up front so we avoided that we were given the bill and iy was just given to us and no 'how was your meal? Like others were asked, I can only assume because we complained of the milkshake which would have given us the chance to explain the milkshake and customer service issues. The bill was put down (it was quite humiliating having to shout it across the cafe after being ignored and walked away AGAIN for 5 minutes, so I went up to pay instead as I just wanted to leave i didn 't mind not being invited/staff being welcoming but they said to sit and wait (nicely though so we did, shortly they came then there was the overcharge (add some more time to that for correction and another updated bill! Then we asked for take away for the panini and some chips, since we had paid for food we wanted it which they seemed to be confused by? Then I finally told someone about the issue of milkshakes as it was £4.95 for brownie one and £3.95 for banana one which is alot just for milk with added flavour which was warm. They said 'ah well pass it on ' which they probably won 't. They were busy but at times they would stand up front at the till looking over everyone just waiting around or maybe waiting for drinks, even when our hands were up or even when our plates had been sat in front of us for ages to be cleared. So it wasn 't like they were extremely busy to notice. Moral is: made to feel like a burden for wanting quality food&/drinks and nicely timed waiting/service. As well as being overcharged.
