I often travel from the Midlands to Scotland and make a point of stopping here instead of continuing on the A74. I've been doing this for years! Their baked goods and bread are fantastic. I usually end up getting at least one of her rolls every time I visit (though, to be honest, I often buy four!). The combination of ingredients is perfect, and you can tell they are made with great care. I can't wait to return soon!
I was greeted by the staff in an open kitchen, which gave a welcoming atmosphere. There was no menu, but that wasn’t an issue since everything is made fresh on the spot. I ordered the soup with butter, some fresh bread, coffee, and the triple chocolate cake. Everything was delicious and offered great value for money. I highly recommend this place! They also have fresh cakes, rolls, and a variety of breads to choose from, along with a selection of hot and cold beverages. Plus, they accept card payments.
This restaurant came highly recommended by a local friend, and he was absolutely right! It has a friendly and welcoming atmosphere, and I believe it’s a must-visit if you’re in the area. The scone was amazing — both the aroma and the taste were fantastic! I also tried some steak bites and cast rolls for dinner; I simply couldn’t resist! I give it 5 stars!
26/3 on our return to home called, as the products are so good! steak pfefferminzkuchen honey folding jacket sausage roll haggis twist white leaves and yes with marmelade jamie! awesome will always call back when in the opposite, the best wish julie, beverley, east yorkshire in the 19th march on the way to ayrshire vacation. amazing cake (steak chicken,) treakelschonen goldbrot had brilliant this morning with marmelade excellent customer service, very pleasant dame looked at us, pity that she did not run her business in eastor!
The produce is fabulous. Always fresh and delicious. Service is always with a smile. It's a pleasure to visit the bakery. I'm lucky, I just live around the corner!
