Those who don't want to eat so much meat and fish have a hard time in this region of France. Most restaurants offer few veggie menus except for salads. Not so this restaurant. It has a great selection of fine meat and vegetarian dishes, a great garden and the service is very friendly and helpful.
We pre booked the table for 4 people, 2adults, 2 children at 18.15. When we got there we were the only ones outside on the right hand side. However as other people arrived they served them straight away (this was about 6 tables) but didn't come near our table. After over 40 mins we had to ask somebody to come and take our drinks order. We also ordered food as we weren't sure how long it would be before they came back to us. Food was OK. Unable to relax as there were so many wasps swarming the table. Other families asked to be seated inside. Very disappointed as we had been looking forward to sampling some proper French food and culture but sadly felt very unwelcome.
