Firehouse Subs Dothan
Firehouse Subs Dothan
Description
Patrons have had varied experiences at this local sub shop. While some rave about the friendly staff and standout sandwiches like the Hook and Ladder, others express disappointment with the quality and pricing of certain items, such as brisket subs that lean heavily on fat. Service issues, including unresponsive staff and unwelcoming attitudes, have also surfaced. However, many appreciate the cleanliness of the establishment and commend its charitable donations. Overall, the food quality can vary, but when made correctly, it competes favorably with chains like Subway, offering fresh ingredients and unique choices.

CAUTION: AVOID ORDERING FROM THIS COMPANY THROUGH TAKEOUT STAR OR ANY OTHER DELIVERY SERVICE. They inflate their prices and don't provide the combos. A kids' meal costs $7 just for the sandwich, while the in-store combo is only $5 for the sandwich, chips, and a drink. It's frustrating to see a company that claims to donate money essentially taking it away from customers to fund those contributions. Don't worry, Mr. Manager—my Facebook post about this received over three hundred comments in under an hour. This weekend, I'll encourage everyone to share their thoughts with you.
I go here regularly, and the people who work there are always incredibly kind, and the food has never once been subpar. An excellent spot if you're craving a good, fast sandwich
The food is good, but the staff is rude to first responders and makes everyone feel like an inconvenience.
OMG! How to be transported to an indescribable culinary Nirvana! The Hook and Ladder at THIS Firehouse Sub store is the answer. BUT you must get the Fully Involved version where the wide array of masterfully chosen ingredients are expertly mixed and blended so every bite is an experience of taste, texture, and aroma unlike any other you may have had in your experience. Mine was slightly warmed which enhanced the release of the flavors and aromas. I was just glad I was sitting down when I ate it or I would have surely fainted dead away at the magnitude of the encounter.
