Native texan here: the food I ordered was filled with taste, I ordered a soda and the quesabirrias that comes with reddish dipping soup. the salsa bar has a large selection and tastes great, but it could use larger plastic cups instead of the small tablespoons size cups. and yes, my server spoke English and she was very efficient and eating came to my table hot. if I could give ten, that would be an absolute wonderful experience in el torito and look forward to the return
I never imagined that I would dine at a Mexican restaurant located inside a Mexican supermarket. Don’t judge it until you try it! When you go to the supermarket, just ask the cashier where the restaurant is, as it’s located in the back. It’s a simple place, but the food is fantastic! The prices are very reasonable, and the service is friendly. Overall, it was a great experience!
My companion and I visited this restaurant and were pleasantly surprised by how delicious the food was. As a native Texan, I found it closely resembles the dishes I enjoyed in West Texas. The portions are generous and very satisfying, so definitely come hungry. This has quickly become our new favorite spot!
Have only ordered takeout so I can't give a review on dining experience. Food is excellent authentic. Grandson's girl friend works there her mom is a chef there. I didn't know what authentic Mexican food was like until I ate their food A bit pricey but big portions. Husband I can share a plate have plenty usually leftovers.Lots of flavor. Some of the best Mexican food I've ever had. Definitely give them a try. You won't be disappointed ???
Fresh meats and also have a restaurant inside the establishment they just look at you crazy like what are you doing in here lol but other than that ??
