**Restaurant Review: A Fresh Take on Sushi in the Terminal**
Located conveniently within the terminal, this sushi spot offers a welcoming environment with friendly staff. Diners can enjoy freshly prepared rolls, including the delightful Vancouver and Creole Tuna options. While the menu clearly indicates which dishes can be made gluten-free, it's important to note that gluten-free soy sauce is not available. Some staff may require additional training on allergen handling, but many were knowledgeable and accommodating. Overall, the restaurant provides a solid choice for sushi lovers seeking convenient, tasty options, and many would gladly return for another satisfying meal.

preparing fresh sushi, it was exactly what I was looking for. they paper menu is clearly marked, which items can be prepared gluten-free. if they get sushi only one warning, they don't have a gf soy sauce. I had the vancouver roll and the creole tuna roll. both tasted great and I wasn't getting sick. View all feedback.
What Anonym dislikes about Ryu:
the woman on the counter was friendly and tried to be helpful. the woman who made my roll looked great to change her gloves and put a plastic container soy sauce with my roll in the hand. (she also rolled it with the same bambus mat she rolls everything with) I was happy in the position to extract and throw away the soy sauce container before he bumped onto my food. it is nice to eat something in this terminal, but I... The people behind the counter knew exactly what was and was not gf. they made me a delicious spicy thun-fish shell and had also gf soy sauce. I wouldn't hesitate to eat here again. delicious.
They have a vegetarian gluten-free poke bowl and the chef offered to change gloves when I told her I had Celiac. They also have tamari packets.

Very good poke bowl, fresh and delicious. They seemed to pay close attention to avoiding cross-contamination.
The woman at the counter was friendly and made an effort to assist me. However, the woman who prepared my roll seemed annoyed when she had to change her gloves and add a plastic container of soy sauce to my order. She also used the same bamboo mat for my roll that she uses for everything else. Fortunately, I managed to remove the soy sauce container before it spilled on my food. While I'm grateful to have food options in this terminal, I believe the staff could benefit from training on handling allergens properly.
The freshly prepared sushi was exactly what I was looking for. The paper menu clearly indicates which items can be made gluten-free. Just a heads up: they do not offer gluten-free soy sauce if you order sushi. I tried the Vancouver Roll and the Creole Tuna Roll, and both were delicious—I didn't have any issues afterwards.
